Bulk downloading photos

Bulk downloading photos in mWater
Individual photos can be accessed easily through the individual responses in the Portal. We also grant access to the photo URLs as they are stored on our side so you can see them and also export them, but it involves a few steps. Here's how to export photos in bulk by using free third party tools:

1) Create a Datagrid using the survey or site you want to export photos for as the data source.
2) Add the relevant Photo question as a column in your datagrid and save the datagrid by naming it. The photos show up as clickable links in the datagrid, but will show as full URLs in the download.
3) Download the datagrid as CSV or Excel
4 ) You can then use a third party file downloader such as the Chrome extension Simple mass downloader or Free Download Manager to download all the photos. Simply take the list of photo URLs from the export and paste it in the third party tool which will then download them all for you.

The files get saved with the 32 character unique ID as the name so you can link them back up to the right sites since the ID is in the photo URL as well.

Here is an example datagrid with some public water point sites: https://share.mwater.co/v3/datagrid_link/266b3838746441cf858adb759992b182?share=e22e78c9aa674027a4056d7cf76a7952
