Troubleshooting images that won't sync due to a corrupted image

In mWater Surveyor data including survey responses, images, and new survey designs can be synchronized automatically or manually. In rare cases, the image synchronization process, whether automatic or manual, is stopped because of the inability of the app to upload a corrupted image file. This tutorial will walk the user through identifying the corrupted image, locating it, deleting it, and syncing the mWater Surveyor to upload the rest of the images.

Identify the photo that is corrupted

Report the issue to mWater using the "Report a Problem" button. The issue report should contain information on the corrupted file. mWater support will contact you shortly with the name of the file that is corrupted.

Find the corrupted photo

Delete the corrupted photo

Sync the mWater Surveyor

Click the "Sync Now" button
