Tables allow you to select any data you have access to in mWater and display it in an ordered way. You can can choose columns across linked data as well so that you can view site and survey data side by side. You can order the data by column, download it as CSV
Datagrids are mWater's version of spreadsheets where an entire webpage is filled with data. These have the same functionality as tables in dashboards but are better for larger quantities of data and greater numbers of columns. These can be added to Consoles.
Basic Steps to create a table
1) Drag the Table widget from the palette to your dashboard canvas
2) Click into the Table widget and select your Data source.
3) Select the Columns you want to display
4) Adjust details like Ordering and Filters

Table options
Here we cover some additional options for tables: Summary values and background colour rules.
You can add a total value of a numerical column to show at the bottom of the table by checking the Summarize option in the column definition.
You can create rules to set the background colour of table cells based on the data in the cell. This can be by text, choice, or number. Here's an example:
For numerical values, you can set colour thresholds either as equally spaced bins, through custom ranges, or whole numbers. You can use existing colour schemes, or set each colour individually.
Datagrids
Steps to create a Datagrid:
Datagrids are mWater's version of spreadsheets where an entire webpage is filled with data. These have the same functionality as tables in dashboards but are better for larger quantities of data and greater numbers of columns. You can access Datagrids from the Manage tab.
Steps to create a Datagrid:
1) Go to Manage -> Datagrids
2) Click Configure Datagrid and select your Data Source
3) Select the Columns you want to display
4) Set Filtering and Sorting Options
Note: You can export the data from the top right Download link. You can also click into individual rows directly from the table if you click into them, provided that you have the right permissions. Finally, you can share access to the datagrid from the Share link. If you create a Share Link from this link, then users who follow that link will see the datagrid as if they had your view permissions. If you just share the URL to the datagrid, they will see the columns you have but with the rows their accounts have permissions for.
