The Settings tab allows for modification of various survey level settings including permissions levels, draft name, and confidential mode.

Survey level permissions
The Settings tab sets permissions for the survey design
itself, while the Deploy tab sets permissions for the data collected via the
survey. This section will focus on the Settings tab on the Survey page. For more information on Roles and Permissions visit this Resource Guide.
Managed by
This role adds the Admins of an organization as Administrators of the survey. This allows organizations to better manage all surveys used by their users in their organization. It also allows the tracking of Form Deployment Statistics on the organizational level. For more information see this Feature Update.

Administrator
This role allows a user, group or organization to:
Add/remove/modify questions via the Design tab
Preview the survey design via the Preview tab
Add/remove/modify translations in the Translate tab
Add/remove/modify the permissions in the Share tab
Add/delete/modify deployments via the Deploy tab
Add/remove/modify assignments via the Assignments tab
Approve/reject/delete responses via the Responses tab
View visualization data via the Visualization tab
View user activity via the Activity tab
Add/remove/modify visualizations to the Survey Report

Deploy
This role allows a user, group or organization to:
Preview the survey design via the Preview tab
Add/remove/modify deployments from the Deploy tab
Add/remove/modify assignments via the Assignments tab
Can only view responses, visualizations, and survey reports if a Deployment allows them to view this data

Options
Draft name required
When this option is checked, users will be prompted to enter a draft name before filling out the form. This draft name will appear below the response on the app, allowing easier management of responses by the enumerator. The draft name will also appear for each response in the portal Responses tab.

Enable confidential data mode
At mWater all of your data is kept fully secured and can only be viewed by you or your organization. In the case that your organization has a group of managers and enumerators cleaning and working with sensitive, personal data there sometimes is a need to keep sensitive information confidential.
Selecting this option enables questions to be marked as confidential which prevents anyone except for admins of the form from seeing the un-redacted answers to the question. This setting helps protect the privacy of sensitive information. Selecting this option for a GPS question will apply a random offset to their location that will not exceed the number in meters that you specify.
