This page provides information how you can set-up a survey with existing questions, indicators or even duplicating an entire existing survey.
Avoid "reinventing the wheel"
mWater gives you options to reuse survey designs that have been previously created and made public, or have been shared with you or your organisation. There are three options:
Indicator question sets - open a new survey and click Indicators Library in the top right. Search by your topic of interest. Pick one and it will populate your survey with a well-tested question set for that topic, i.e., accessibility or E. coli contamination.
Individual question types - in survey design view, click add, and below new question you will see search question library. This lets you see all questions that have been made publicly viewable in mWater. This is not as vetted as option 1, though.
Public survey tab - finally, in the survey tab where you see all your surveys, look along the left column to see all public surveys. Here, if you like one, duplicate it and edit as needed.
Option 1 = Indicator Question Set
Open a new survey and click Indicator Library in the top right. Search by your topic of interest. Pick one and it will populate your survey with a well-tested question set for that topic, i.e., accessibility or E. coli contamination.
Inside the Indicator Library drop-down menu you can add a question set to the survey or remove them. You can also click on "more information" which takes you to the Indicator Page.
Option 2 =Individual question types
In survey design view, click add, and below new question you will see search question library. This lets you see all questions that have been made publicly viewable in mWater. This is not as vetted as option 1, though.
Option 3 = Public survey tab
In the survey tab where you see all your surveys, look along the left column to see all public surveys. Here, if you like one, duplicate it and edit as needed.
